UTECO Calibration Laboratory

HISTORY
Its activities started around 1980 as “laboratory of test and measurements” to service our own temperature sensors manufacturing and research department. As time goes by and due to the increased market demand (initially for testing and later for calibration of temperature and pressure sensors) our lab became and evolved to Calibration Laboratory of UTECO ABEE by the title “UTECO LABORATORY” or “UTECO LAB”.
The personnel of the lab is highly trained specialized in temperature calibration through specific seminars from NIM (National Institute o Metrology) and also from a long time experience (8-20 years).
UTECO’s lab-even though it is not yet an accredited laboratory- it operates exactly according to the International Standards Guidelines (ISO /IEC 17025) offering to our customers reliable services.
UTECO LAB is a regular member of the Association of Greek labs HELLAS LAB.

CERTIFICATION:
The certification released by our lab includes all necessary information to the customer-user like method of calibration, uncertainty of measurement and trace ability of the standard-reference devices used according to the standard ISO/IEC 17025.

STANDARD-REFERENCE DEVICES:
All of our standard-reference devices are calibrated according to their re-calibration program, from the N.I.M. That gives reference directly to our National Standards and through the single chain of Calibration, to the International Standards.

UNCERTAINTY:
The mentioned uncertainties of the certification have been calculated according to ISO GUIDE 25 EXPRESSION OF THE UNCERTAINTY OF MEASUREMENT IN CALIBRATION and ΕΑ-04/02 expressions of measurement uncertainty.

WHY CHOOSE UTECO Lab:
